Weigh anchor and set sail for Christmas Eve – the best way to explore the towns and villages on Lake Wörthersee during Advent is on an Advent boat trip on Lake Wörthersee.
The scheduled boats depart from Klagenfurt Ostbucht every Saturday and Sunday from 23rd November to 22nd December 2024.
The Christmas markets in Pörtschach, Velden, Maria Wörth and on the Pyramidenkogel are welcome excursion tips. Shuttle buses are also available from Velden and Maria Wörth to the Pyramidenkogel.
Alternatively, you can use the well-developed train connection from Velden to Klagenfurt. Further information can be found at timetable.oebb.at.
Depending on the frequency, there may be slight delays of approx. 15 minutes on the boat trip.

The return is scheduled for 19.15 and 20.15.
